MSC Seashore – The Newest Ship To Sail Out Of Miami.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the Naming Ceremony for MSC Seashore. It was so exciting to be a part of their Inaugural Sail.  The ship left port from Miami and sailed to their private island Ocean Kay in the Bahamas! A 2 day cruise was perfect for me since I’ve never been on one before.

As a requirement to board the ship you need BOTH a negative PCR COVID or rapid antigen test (48 hours before embarkation) AND your Vaccine Card. MSC Cruises also does provide testing onsite the day of departure if there are any mishaps. You will be required to wear a mask throughout the cruise while indoors and in public areas. Mask use is not required outdoors.

After boarding we got to check into our Stateroom balcony cabin. It was so spacious, and I was excited to have a balcony for the fresh air and beautiful ocean view!

MSC Seashore has been extended and enhanced with a variety of brand-new features, spaces and experiences for guests 😍 MSC Seashore is now sailing from Miami to The Bahamas & Caribbean, including full-day calls to Ocean Cay ✨ MSC Marine Reserve, their award-winning exclusive private island.

My absolute favorite area on MSC Seashore is the Infinity Pool✨

This pool is one of the largest Infinity pools at sea, offering a variety of different depths as well as submerged sunbeds.

The infinity pool

At close proximity to the water on Deck 8, the Infinity pool is the perfect spot to connect with the sea and take in spectacular views from sunrise to sunset.

Make sure you don’t miss the top 5 Instagrammable spots on MSC Seashore, the newest ship to sail out of Miami✨

1.) The infinity pool
2.) The time machine tunnel
3.) The bridge of sighs
4.) Boulevard Du Cabaret
5.) Time Square Plaza

MSC Seashore offers an abundance of dining choices with 11 distinct venues including three main restaurants, a dedicated Aurea spa restaurant, the MSC Yacht Club restaurant, Marketplace buffet, and five specialty restaurants that are all located together in Chef’s Court. Each venue serves up its own mouthwatering menu of international cuisine offering unforgettable gourmet adventures in an array of wonderful surroundings. I got to do a bite tasting around all the restaurants and my favorites were the Kaito Teppanyaki restaurant and Sushi Bar!

After a full night of beauty sleep we woke up docked at MSC Cruises Private island Ocean Kay, Just 65 miles south of Miami! With 8 different beaches on the island–each offering unique ambience and amenities–guests who visit Ocean Cay are sure to find a sandy shoreline that suits their beach vibe with tons of activities. I myself enjoyed the kayaking! It’s amazing to think that before Ocean Cay became to be, there were 7,500 tons of scrap metal and junk that were removed!

Then 75,000 trees, shrubs and plants were brought in that are native to the region to restore the island’s original beauty. More than 400 coral reefs were relocated and the waters surrounding the island are now a protected coral nursery spanning 64 square miles.

Guests can enjoy Ocean Cay after dark too! The island offers an amazing lighthouse light show with a live DJ playing the night away on the beach. You and other guests can grab a drink from the bar and dance the night away or lounge on the beach by a fire pit. It truly has any vibe you are in the mood for.

After returning to our room from the beach party I loved that all disembarkment information were delivered to our room. I just didn’t love that I was leaving 🙁 This ensured a smooth disembarkation process and transportation directly to either Miami International airport or Fort Lauderdale Airport.
