TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS TO FRENCH POLYNESIA

UPDATE: Bora Bora has closed to all tourists as of February 3rd. Learn more about the current French Polynesian COVID-19 protocols on the tourism website.

French Polynesia has been open for tourism since July 15, 2020.

All travelers are subject to the following mandatory conditions:

Prior to boarding:

– Proof of a Negative RT-PCR test carried out within three days prior to your international air departure. 72 hours from the last leg of travel.  List of approved and non-approved tests – Very important that you get one from the approved list.

I got my test done at my doctor’s office in Boston, MA USA, and even had my doctor write a letter and signed it stating what type of test it was for precaution. Happy to report it was a Negative Result.

– Present the receipt of the health registration on the Etis.pf platform (Electronic Travel Information System).

– Make sure you have your negative Covid result test and necessary documents. PRINTED!

During the stay:
– Self-test 4 days after arrival in the Islands of French Polynesia. They will provide this test for you at the airport and you’ll have to turn it into your hotel/accommodation.
